Creating a Manageable Makerspace!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Would you like to create a makerspace in your library, but feel overwhelmed by some of the ideas posted online by over zealous librarians? This session will help you create a manageable makerspace, by keeping ideas simple and accessible to all students. Create a makerspace that combines toys with a task, and defines play with purpose. The Dallastown Area Intermediate School Library's Innovation Station will be showcased, and help you create a similar, feasible makerspace in your library.

Competencies:
Create a manageable makerspace for their library.
Create a list of learning ideas to incorporate into their makerspace.
Create a list of useful items to place in their makerspace.
